David Mishoulam

David Mishoulam, is recognized by the California Board of Acupuncture as a licenced Acupuncturist and Herbbalist. David recieved his Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego, CA.

David is an Adjunct Faculty member at his alma mater Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego.

Mr Mishoulam recieved extensive and diverse clinincal experience which includes:

• Collaberation for rehabilitation for injured athletes at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) 

• Acupuncture for seniors through free clinics offered by UCSD Medical Center

• The Cancer Research Center, San Diego and patients with varioous types and at all stages of cancer.

• Rady's Childrens Hospital, San Diegowhere he treated pediatric onclogy, chronic pain conditions, and children with special needs.

 

In addition to his studies with in Traditional Chinese Medicine David has taken additional clinical coursework with different styles of practice such as Japanese Meridian Theory and Orthopedic Acupuncture involving postural alignment and muscle motor point thereapy. All of the different styles allow David to address each patient from different perspectives. This broadens David's ability to assess what will work best for each person in a diverse comunity of patients.

 

Through the use of acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, and life style adjustments, David strives to offer his patients relief as well as tools to empower themselves and take conrol of their own personal journey of healing.
