New Patients

When you arrive at Mountain View Acupuncture, LLC, you will enter a warm and professional environment. On your first visit, your practitioner will give you a thorough consultation and acupuncture treatment session. After your first visit, your practitioner will send a report to your referring physician, when appropriate, and communicate clearly the therapeutic goals for the agreed upon treatment plan.

Initial appointments are one hour to 1 1/2 hours

Follow-up appointments are 45 minutes to an hour

Treatment plans range from six to 12 sessions administered over 3 to 8 weeks

Your questions and specific requests are encouraged, and at all times, our practitioners will explain what they are doing. The more you know and understand, the faster the road to wellbeing.

We encourage patients to optimize acupuncture treatment by incorporating the benefits of herbal medicine. All of our practitioners are licensed by the state of Oregon to distribute Chinese herbal medicine as well as Western herbal supplements.

We offer a time-of-service for those without insurance coverage.
First visit: $125 - $160 Cash/Check/CC (Seniors and Vets $105-125)

Includes:
o Check up
o History and examination
o Diagnosis
o Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, cost vary by services
o Nutritional and herbal recommendations (herbs sold separately)

Optional additional services for a small additional fee -
Roller Moxa and shiatsu - $10
Mini-massage - $5 - $10 per time increment, usually targeted to site of injury
Chinetsukyu moxa - $5 - $10 per side/site

FOLLOW UP TREATMENT:   $95 - 125 paid at time of service. (no billing provided).
Pricing depends on time and services. [See additional charges above for Japanese moxa techniques or massage as an add-in ($10 - 20)]

Seniors, Veterans, Students: $80 - $100 depending on time and additional services. (Medicare and Tricare don't cover acupuncture).
We offer a sliding scale to those who meet federal income guidelines.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to our busy schedule, there is a $50 charge for any appointment missed or cancelled with less than 36 hours
notice.   New clients will need to reserve their first appointment with a major credit card.

You are responsible for all uncovered charges. In addition your insurance may not cover herbal consultation, moxa, all massage techniques, and
functional medicine consultation so you may choose to include these services for a higher copay. We have an itemized fee schedule for your
convenience.

We reserve the right to refuse treatment to anyone.  Clients who repeatedly cancel or no-show for appointments without a timely
cancellation or who use abusive language will not be seen at this office.
